Avico 4 way stereo speaker switch box designed for 8 ohm speakers and an amplifier able to work with a load of between 4 and 8 ohms and designed to let 1 stereo amplifier drive 4 pairs of speakers.
It is not suitable for using one set of speakers and several amplifiers.
The maximum load on the amplifier in ohms is half the resistance of the speaker.
